I have not blog for so long because of my recent project: T3C. Basically, its about integrating an original shop over at Raffles Xchange and change it to your own, using ur very own concept . The them is about luxury, which for me, means increasing the quality of life of people. By so, technology has lead to a huge impact in people's daily life and thus contribute to comfortability and accessiblity. RevoTech - a store that provides a surveyor of electronic goods is coming to town. This is a short 1/3 animation of the store. There's more...check it out during my crit =)

ok i try rendering for almost a day yesterday only then i realise i havent start on my tod essay...these are more images that i render on sketchup...yes sketchup. not ice the glossie and reflective surface on the ceiling design....which is the green ones of course. haha! the wooden box shows how easy a light box can be installed to make my microchip design..i love sketchup!

Seriously, I don't understand why can't we just tell why we don't like bout someone...or even give them advice how they can be more appreciated. I mean we can't possibly be rude or discuss this face to face with them but at least show your respect. Its eff worse being quiet, insulting, backstabbing, criticising someone. Muahahahahaha. I just received the best autocad reference drawing from my lasalle pal. Im so thankful to him and God. This drawing will help me in my life as a designer. Insyaallah (God's willing). thanks a million bro. I hope you will succeed in life as a designer too.

I have nothing fun to post actually. Crit went ok for me cuz i know i did averagely for drawings...starting on my portfolio soon or there will be no time. This graffiti of the letter A is cool. I wish I can find all the other alphabets with this style...I will do my best in the next project. Till my next post,take care.

lasalle! =(

Went to LaSalle college of the arts on saturday on my way to print my A2 boards. And I met my former school mate! His name is also Ashraf...haha. and not only our name is the same, he draws graffiti too and the most ridiculous thing is that he is in the interior design course too!! but only in LASALLE!!! sigh...went to his studio and accompany him cause we made a deal, he will accompany me to print my boards. Their studio is simply amazing...with all that fabulous models and layout presentation boards. Hopefully can exchange ideas with him and the tips of their standards and their lecturers standards. WAY TO COOL. In case u don't know what Lasalle looks like,here it is...i wanna go there... sadded

Sooo happy now...words could not explain. My lecturer Ellen sent me an email, stating that me and ama were selected to join the International Design Award competition. COOL or WHAT! Ama's model is great! I still wonder how she did the stylo sticks thing..hmm...Ok..although i know its hard competing (definitely cant win LOL) against over 2000 countries around the globe...at least its a huge honour and does reflect in my portfolio for ITP. ok guys...gonna take nice nice pictures and storyboardings...no rest during holidays. I will not give up and give in on such great opportunities. take care..



and oh yeah...i wanna say thnx to amin, azz and adeline for their great motivation...my T2B cant be completed and not selected if not for them..=) bb!

Its done with the final projects and i must say i so happy with my critique session. It went well...the lecturers went speechless and i thought they did not like my project. It must be one of my best critiques. Kelly was there,so does yong sheng. =) nonetheless..i will post the pics i taken for my big big model in the next post...pls be sure to check it out..

shit...still cannot post pictures..nvm. well todae was the launching of the new project - T2 part B. The project brief was long and winding one but i understand it roughly. It will be a huge structure at the end of the day but it will be worth the pain. Its gonna be another sleepless nights adventure. And today was my crit! hell yeah it was fun...lucky and thanx to Manish and Cindy who makes it fun..well gonna start the project now if i wanna sleep..=) keep staying tuned...

hey readers...projects projects..when it starts,it wont end. Nonetheless i love them! it makes my finding to my concept stronger. A new project was launched last friday...shit so long nvr update my drawings and project images...i will do so when im done with this project. So....this project is about analysing my ten diagrams and make it into a spatial environment. With only 10x10cm area...with no height limit. Kind of challenging but love it...will post the pics soon...be sure to check it.

hey...its been awhile since i post new drawings..like i said,busy with some assignments..im like 5 percent done. shit. ok,today i just again.created some new drawings..wildstyle way. maybe i shall do 3D graf again someday. wildstyle wildstyle...its about the way u deform it to make them a little bit impossible to read..

o.o i nvr post for yesterday. well..yesterday went to school to return library books(dued yesterday) lucky i remembered. After that, went to IT fair with sec school friend, amen. So packed..wth. what do you expect? haha. Then head to bugis to meet his friends...which later went jamming at night...exhausting day but very fun indeed...oh ya! bout the packing of things..I think we are about 3/4 done...only the things that we dont need at the meantime...no drawings for todae guys..currently busy with some things i.e intech dossier and tod journal and RWP! till then...

Woohoo!

My sis just complete her job at the expo and guess what? She's giving me a treat..haha. Normal treat only...she must be tired from working 10-10 everyday...well she likes it so nvm..Oh yea, still got dossier and TOD journal to complete. Dossier halfway there; journal havent even touch. I miss school. SHit! going back on fri to return library books and next monday to help Azz with her model display.. YEAH. U guys should check out her model. It is huge and nice!! Girl power sia. Shall cont' to update tmr...bye

SIAN...BORING DAY

well today i shall update my personal things...i just realise that its was sooo boring without having any assignments to do...no stress and work BUT i hate it when its boring and just rotting at home...nevertheless there is one thing i got to do! helping my mum with the packing of stuffs for moving house. Did I mention it before? TO YEW TEE! cool...but its too far from jurong west. gonna miss jurong cuz there's a lot of memories back then...from kindergarten to primary to secondary...sigh. But i will definitely go back to my sec school one of these days...Talking bout sec sch life..the teachers had changed that fast..well..I gtg continue packing.

Counting down to 27 july 2009...

Here are the pictures that I took for my model making.Should have updated it last week... 768 squares altogether. It was tiring but worth all the effort I had put in, in that one week. Mostly made up of plain white cards then sprayed with lemon yellow.

For my space, I made use of natural sunlight most...of course there are artificial light...and the term monoculture- a term to describe the same type of crop grown in an area.. I manipulate it make the fibreglass smaller and multiply it a lot of times...well enough bout design life! its holiday period now..i think its 3 weeks? And there is this scholarship thing,only 3 lucky ones will get it...hopefully i get it...cuz there are a lot of other good people. One of them is xiang ling...POWER...so i guess one slot is confirmed taken but there are two more slots left...=)

New blog ...well i suppose i must start to update my everyday life from now on. From design to personal to maybe private? well i will start on my design life in SP for term 1. It started of great I must say...although being assigned a project on day one..without realising it,it was the 2nd and then the 3rd and final one...7 weeks went past so fast and now its the holidays. Had crit on last monday..nervous is the first word that describes me...What do you expect? Im 2nd in the whole batch to present my design to a panel of 8 lecturers...but thankfully it went pretty well and thank god for that...i didnt hand up my process journal =( and got 0 for it..nvm...Look to the future...well i will update the pics for my model and other design stuff tmr...be sure to check it out...
